Learn more about the co-op system:
“ I think that living in a co-op provides many advantages that an apartment would not. Being a member of Halstead would give me the opportunity to meet many other college women, have a say in how the house is run, and be part of a community. ”
- Jessica M
Early Move-in / Late Move-Out
Early Move-in charges are $10/day with approval of the house and the office. Please contact Regina at the office for early move in.
If you are a current resident and will be staying at College Houses in the coming semester(s), you are allowed to remain in the house during interim.
Contact regina@collegehouses.org for information concerning late move-out.
Associate Contract
What does it mean to be an associate?
As an associate member you can eat meals, vote in meetings, and have a key to the common areas of the house. Most people become an associate if they have a place of their own, but spend a lot of time at a co-op. Others become an associate because they live far away from campus and wish to have an affordable place to eat nearby.
The mothly rate for associate members is set by the house. There are different levels of associateship that each include a set number of meals. The rate is normally between $60-$130 a month.
Contact the membership coordinator of the house for more information.
