Contract Break Procedure

Once your contract is signed by our office, you become financially responsible for the entire contract.

You can get a contract break with proper documentation and a $75 fee for the following reasons:

• Departing school and not enrolling in another local school
• Draft by military
• Medical reasons
• Marriage
• Studying abroad
• Returning home after studying abroad

If you don't fit into of these categories, we will replace you with a name on your house's waitlist for a $75 fee.

If there is no one on the waitlist, you must find someone on your own or wait until we can fill the contract

If you find someone on your own, they must be a student and get approved by your house.

Your contract will not be broken until the new person has signed a contract and your have checked out of your room with your membership coordinator.
