College Houses is a non-profit student housing cooperative owned and managed by its students residents.

Unlike dorms or apartments owned by the university or a landlord, the students control how co-ops operate. As such, cooperatives provide a style of living that easily facilitates the needs of our members: residential, academic and recreational.

The students who live at College Houses reside in one of six houses within comfortable walking distance to the University of Texas campus as well as Austin Community College (ACC). The houses are managed and operated through the efforts of student members and each house reflects the values and lifestyle choices of its residents. The students who live in College Houses also enjoy the community, affordability, and convenience not found in apartments or dorms.
