Introduction
We all know that student housing co-ops are inexpensive. But are they a value? A fair, monitored labor system is a major factor in determining whether a co-op is a real bargain or just cheap.
The College Houses Labor Web was created to help officers and members make their co-op work. It contains The Labor Czar Training Checklist used by the outgoing Labor Czar to train the incoming one. Documents included on this site are descriptions of labor systems used at various houses over the past years, various labor documents including fall, spring, and summer labor schedules in excel spreadsheet format.
Job Descriptions of labor postions are also included on this site. Finally, the Labor Web contains a help page that lists staff contact information, emergency numbers, and a list of preferred vendors.
